As a key county cultural and tourism project, Fengmen Mountain leverages Qingtian Stone mining heritage and natural resources to restore abandoned mines and upgrade their functions. Guided by ecology-first, culture-empowered principles, it will build a complex integrating study tours, eco-tourism, leisure and wellness, improving tourism layout and boosting high-quality cultural tourism development.

Over 350 workers are on site, with 30% of the project completed. The Tourism Service Center's basement is 50% finished, with above-ground work underway. Foundation works are ongoing at the two cultural centers, while roadbed work proceeds in the mine park. Wang Tengda said the center's basement will finish by late July, main structure by year-end, with soft opening in 2028.

Perched at an altitude of 750 meters with superb panoramic views, the site is divided into four major functional sections with complementary business formats and clear positioning. The Tourism Service Center serves as a comprehensive reception hub, supported by a constant-temperature water paradise, a children's water amusement park, a 5D cinema and business conference venues. Standing atop the mountain, the Mine Research and Study Center features 223 guest rooms to meet diverse accommodation and vacation needs. Centered on ecological restoration, the Mine Park will feature a sightseeing train, ecological footpaths and numerous popular check-in spots. Linked with a themed hotel, the Qingtian Overseas Chinese and Stone Culture Experience Center is equipped with 250 guest rooms, a cliffside swimming pool and master craftsmen studios.

The Tourism Service Center, Mine Park and Mine Research and Study Center are invested and built by the local urban construction and investment company. The Qingtian Overseas Chinese and Stone Culture Experience Center is developed by Zhejiang Nayun Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., which will take charge of the overall operation upon project completion. Gu Hongliang, project director of Zhejiang Nayun Qingtian, stated that this is the brand's 3.0 iteration, featuring comprehensive upgrades in altitude views, spatial planning and visitor experience.

Upon completion, the resort will boast over 400 cloud-view guest rooms, a cliffside swimming pool and other signature amenities. It will become a new landmark for high-end mountain resorts in southern Zhejiang, fill the gap in the local high-end vacation industry, and serve as a new growth pole driving cultural and tourism development. Having achieved a remarkable industrial transformation from traditional stone mining to leisure and vacation tourism, Fengmen Mountain's new cultural and tourism landmark has garnered widespread public anticipation.
