Local accents fill Spring Festival Village Gala, and steeds greet the 2026 Lunar New Year. The 2026 Qingtian County Spring Festival Village Gala is about to kick off, inviting you to a New Year rendezvous brimming with local accents, rural vibes and hometown affection, to feel the Chinese New Year flavor and the warmth of everyday life.

Following the principle of "Key Guidance, Characteristic Cultivation and Inter-village Coordination", the galas adopt a new "Performance + Market +" model, with villagers as the star performers, showcasing rural scenes and empowering rural vitalization. Held from mid-to-late January to March 3, 2026, they cover all towns (subdistricts) and villages (communities) in the county.
Six benchmark galas: Hecheng Street: Liuji Square, Feb 21 (13:00-16:00), featuring singing and dancing, dialect skits, dragon dance and other Intangible Cultural Heritage (ICH) displays plus a characteristic market; Youzhu Street: Qiaobo Square, Feb 9 (15:00-20:00), blending galas and markets to highlight overseas Chinese characteristics and promote local products; Wenxi Town: Wendong Park, afternoon of Feb 1, with villagers' self-compiled shows, ICH performances and a New Year Blessing Market; Gaohu Town: Cultural Auditorium Square, evening of Feb 10, featuring lantern rolling dance, opera, Spring Festival couplet writing and sky lantern releasing; Shankou Town: Shankou Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 9 (13:00-19:30), an international rural gala with self-compiled shows by overseas Chinese relatives and an ICH market; Rengong Village: Rengong Grand Lawn, Feb 22-23, integrating ICH and childlike fun to create scenes for New Year market strolling and show watching.

Ten characteristic galas: Ounan Street: Shuinan Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 5 (13:00), with rural opera and a characteristic market; Dongyuan-Wanshan Cluster: Dongyuan Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 4 (18:30-21:30), featuring diverse shows and a farm produce market; Chuanliao Town: Hongfuqian Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 26 (18:30), with singing and dancing, ICH performances and a Common Prosperity Market; Haikou Town: Cultural Auditorium, Jan 26 (14:30-20:00), featuring special shows and a New Year Goods Market; Lakou Town: Shifan Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 17 (13:30), with board dragon dance shows and an ICH market; Beishan Town: Zhangping Village, Feb 10 (15:00-20:00), blending She ethnic customs and bonfire parties; Zhenbu-Zhenwang Cluster: Lingxia Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 4, with a market, Karaoke for All and villagers' self-compiled shows; Haixi Village: Xiyuan Village, Feb 11 (14:00-20:00), featuring Yue Opera, Fish Lantern Dance and a characteristic market; Shuqiao Village: Yedian Village Cultural Auditorium, Feb 12 (19:00-21:00), with rural performances and a Spring Festival market; Fushan Township: Central Square, Jan 24 (15:00-19:00), featuring Nuo Dance, shadow puppetry and a Common Prosperity Market.

Inter-village Coordination, based on the benchmark and characteristic galas, various activities will be fully rolled out to create a festive atmosphere where every town and village is filled with Lunar New Year joy.
